Every student-athlete carries a story shaped by discipline, resilience, and a vision for something greater than themselves.

Behind every early morning workout and late-night practice is a community that chooses to invest in their potential.

Supporting student-athletes goes far beyond funding athletics. It creates opportunity, builds confidence, develops leadership, and leaves a lasting impact long after the final whistle.

We’re proud to celebrate the 20th Annual Vol State Athletics Golf Classic and invite businesses, families, and community partners to join us as sponsors. Each opportunity listed below directly supports the resources and experiences our student-athletes need to thrive—on and off the field.

If you're looking for a meaningful way to make an impact, we encourage you to explore the available sponsorship levels and find the right fit.

Mark your calendar for the 20th Annual Vol State Athletics Golf Classic.

It's a day full of competition, connection, and showing up for Vol State student-athletes.

Putting with the Pres. is back, and so is your shot at the Volunteer Bank Corporate Cup.

This tournament just means more — because of who it supports. We're raising funds to support student athletes.

One of this year's recipients, on our TCCAA Championship Softball team, reminds us what it’s all about:

"As a student-athlete far from home, this support has been truly life-changing. Balancing the demands of academics, athletics, and being away from my family can be challenging. This scholarship eases some of that financial pressure, allowing me to focus on excelling both in the classroom and on the field and is a reminder that there are people who believe in my potential!"

Corporate teams, come be part of the 20th Annual Golf Classic and help keep opportunities like this going.

Share this and invite someone you to join you on August 3!

At Vol State, we’re proud to create an environment where students can truly shine.

Meet Willow Carden, a recent graduate who took full advantage of every opportunity. From earning Dean’s List honors to serving as a President’s Ambassador and giving back across the community, she’s been named the 2026 Social Science & Education Division Excellence Award recipient.

As one professor shared, “She is an example of professionalism… and displays integrity in the classroom.”

And her impact goes beyond academics...

Willow is also part of our TCCAA Champion Softball team, who is now competing at the NJCAA National Tournament. She is representing Vol State on the national stage just days after graduation.

Student-athletes like Willow show what’s possible when talent meets opportunity.

We’re proud of you, Willow, and we’re cheering you on all the way. 💙🥎

At Vol State, we are proud of our accomplished faculty who care deeply about students while also making meaningful contributions beyond the classroom.

Today, we’re spotlighting Professor Grady Eades, whose passion for teaching and community engagement truly reflects the heart of Vol State.

Grady was recently honored with the Hillcourt Bronze Medal, a new national award recognizing distinguished contributions to Scouting history. A lifelong Scouter and history scholar, he preserves the legacy of Boxwell Reservation, mentors youth as an Assistant Scoutmaster, and shares that same dedication with students in the classroom.

Students describe him as supportive, engaging, and inspiring. We couldn’t agree more. Congratulations, Professor Eades, on this well-deserved honor! 👏

Sometimes the next step forward means starting over—and that’s exactly what Brooke Fasone did.

After already working in healthcare and taking on many of the same responsibilities as a nurse, Brooke knew she was ready for more. She made the decision to come back to school at Vol State’s Springfield campus to earn the credential that would match her skills, dedication, and experience.

Now, as a recent nursing graduate, Brooke is stepping into new opportunities and advancing her career with the recognition she’s earned.

Her story is a reminder that it’s never too late to bet on yourself.

For those considering that same step, applications for the nursing program at our Springfield Center remain open until June 15.

Happy Emergency Medical Services Week to the first responders who keep our communities safe — and to the Vol State students stepping into those roles right now.

This spring, 77 EMT-Basic grads, 53 Accelerated EMT grads, and 53 Advanced EMT grads finished their programs. That’s over 180 new first responders ready to roll out and make a real impact across our Middle Tennessee and Upper Cumberland region.

These degrees represent long nights, tough skills, and a commitment to showing up when people need help most. And you did it.

Huge shoutout to our EMS alumni already out there answering calls and saving lives. You’re the reason our communities stay strong.🚑⚕️

We’re so excited to launch our newest cohort of healthcare students, pinned this spring in Medical Laboratory Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Technology, and Nursing. This moment isn’t just a ceremony—it’s the start of their journey to show up for our communities with real skill, compassion, and purpose.

These students have already shown resilience and heart, and their pins reflect the impact they’re ready to make. As they step into the field, they’re helping strengthen the health and well‑being of Middle Tennessee and the Upper Cumberland.

We’re incredibly proud of how Vol State students are stepping up to meet healthcare needs and care for the people who make our region what it is. The future of healthcare is in good hands. 🤲 🩺
