Kudos to our Child Welfare Education Institute (CWEI) staff for facilitating the logistics of this year's Rooted in Care: Uplifting Families from Pregnancy to Parenthood conference. The conference was hosted by Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ). Advocates for Children of New Jersey

About one hundred people attended this empowering conference last Thursday, March 19th, at Stockton's Atlantic City Campus. The event featured a line of expert speakers, panel discussions and a wealth of resources focused on racial equity in maternal and child health outcomes in South Jersey, and Atlantic City in particular.

The participants left with new strategies and initiatives aimed at promoting equity in the birthing process, early childhood and parenting.

Well done Team CWEI for helping facilitate this very important event👏
