Congratulations to Noah Song for declaring a Music Major! He is our first major declaration for the 2026-2027 academic year. Noah said, "I chose to declare in music along with psychology because I intend to go into graduate school for music therapy after Kenyon!"

The Department of Music is deeply saddened to share the passing of Camilla Cai, Professor Emerita of Music.

Professor Cai was a dedicated member of the Kenyon faculty for nearly 20 years before retiring in 2005. Throughout her distinguished career, she inspired students through courses including Introduction to Music History, Music History: 19th Century, Music History: 20th Century, Senior Seminar, Brahms and His Times, and many others. Her passion for teaching, scholarship, and mentorship left a lasting impact on the Kenyon community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Camilla’s family, friends, colleagues, and the many students whose lives were enriched by the opportunity to learn and work with her. She will be remembered with gratitude and respect for her many contributions to the Department of Music and the College.
