Mr. Hotelling’s recognition as the District 2 Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association Teacher of the Year is an incredible honor and a testament to the passion, commitment, and excellence he brings to Ga***rd every single day. District 2 represents a large and highly competitive region of Michigan filled with outstanding band programs and directors, making this recognition even more meaningful. The GHS Symphony Band is celebrating an incredible achievement - earning straight Division 1 ratings at the State Band Festival!

Our 8th grade band also had a strong showing, earning a 1 and two 2's for a Division 2 (excellent) rating. Great work to all of our talented musicians!
