Quick request for everyone who attended Georgetown College between 2006-2012!!
I am working to help write a narrative history for GC for the past few decades. For some of our students, I know that involvement with one of our collegiate ministries was a crucial part of your college experience, and so we want to make sure to include that in this narrative. If you were involved with any of the campus ministries that were in place at GC between 2006-2012 (including Campus Ministry, Common Ground, Rooted, Freshman Family Groups, Campus Outreach, CRU, Scroggins Park tutoring, Chapel ministry, Alternative Spring Break trips, etc.), and if you consider that involvement an important part of your collegiate experience, would you please take a couple of minutes to respond back with a quick story/few sentences (or more if you like) describing what ministry or ministries you were involved with and how they impacted your college experience and life? I would like to be able to pull some of these quotes for the narrative that I am writing, and so if you would like to write something but would prefer that your words not be quoted in this narrative, please just message me and let me know. Also, I am tagging a bunch of GC alums in this post, but I will not be able to tag everyone who would be able to respond to this request. So please feel free to share this invitation with others!
