Gettysburg Greek Life

Gettysburg Greek Life Gettysburg Greek Life helps to support the 16 organizations and over 800 students in our fraternity and sorority community.

Gettysburg College is home to 16 inter/nationally affiliated fraternities and sororities with over 35% of Gettysburg College students comprising the Greek community. Fraternities at Gettysburg date back to 1855 and our first sorority formed in 1904. The Greek Community at Gettysburg College emphasizes the values and principles of their founders and the co-curricular learning goals of the College:

Congrats 🌙🌙🌙🌙 Early each spring, each chapter is evaluated by their headquarters. The Order of the Crescent evaluates chapters on many areas of chapter life, including recruitment, member education, philanthropy, risk management, financial efficiency, public relations, ritual, among others. Four Crescent Level: To achieve this level, chapters received between 80% and 89% of possible points, exceeding expectations in many areas of chapter life.
