Deadline to withdraw is on Wednesday, July 13th. Six-week courses dropped by this date will appear on a student’s permanent record with a notation of ‘W’ for withdrawn. The ‘W’ deadline for short-term/extended term courses is 75% of the course meetings.

Withdrawing from classes could have potential implications that may affect things such as financial aid.

Hello EOPS!

In about a month from now, you will be wrapping up your spring 2022 semester! In the meantime, there are still a few things you may need to make decisions on:

Thursday, April 28th is the deadline to withdraw from any class you may be thinking of dropping. Remember that withdrawing could lead to potential consequences, so be sure to speak with your counselor about this first. There are a few openings for this week. Schedule an appointment now!

Priority Registration for summer and fall will begin on Monday, May 2nd! Have you checked the class schedule yet? Review your education plan on DegreeWorks and look up the classes ahead of time.

You will notice that some classes will be offered in-person. Be sure you are ready! We encourage you to review the Health Services Portal in your MyGav portal. All students are expected to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and receive clearance confirmation prior to registration for in person classes or access to the Library, Tutoring Centers, student service departments and other areas on campus. Visit the Health Services Portal in your MyGav portal to follow the instructions to be in compliance. If you took care of this when you registered for Spring, then there is nothing else you need to do.

Do you need help deciding about your classes? Need help getting ready for registration? Have you completed your EOPS contacts? As a reminder, EOPS Counselors are available on drop-in:

Tuesday, 1:00-4:00 with Mari
Wednesday, 2:00-5:00 with Simone
Make an impact on how EOPS/CARE at Gavilan operates-
