The Rowan Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights at Rowan University is currently accepting applicants for entry into the 2026/2027 academic year for their one-of-a-kind MA or COGS in Holocaust and Genocide Education.
With equal focus on Holocaust and genocide content, and innovative and effective pedagogies, this graduate program fills a much-needed gap in higher education. The MA is designed for those interested in Holocaust and genocide education broadly, from classroom teachers and curriculum developers, to museum educators, and those interested in working for nonprofits and NGOs. In the program, graduate students will gain deep content knowledge and the ability to implement effective teaching strategies through customized coursework and an applied capstone project. Virtual Option Available.
