Rowan University’s athletic programs compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. Rowan is a member of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference. The University sponsors 18 athletic teams - eight men and 10 women. Men’s sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, swimming and diving, and indoor an

d outdoor track and field. The women’s teams consist of basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, soccer, swimming and diving, indoor and outdoor track and field and volleyball. Rowan has won 11 NCAA Division III Championships - five in men’s outdoor track and field, two in baseball and men’s soccer and one in men’s basketball and field hockey. Rowan has won 179 NJAC Championships and has made 317 appearances in NCAA Tournaments and Championship events.

Rowan Volleyball enters the 2026 season ranked fourth in the NJAC Preseason Coaches Poll after posting a 25-6 record and going 7-1 in conference play last season.

With new head coach and Rowan alum Casey Burford at the helm, the Profs return to action this weekend heading to Batten University, formerly Virginia Wesleyan, for the Marlin Invitational.

#12 Rowan University Men's Soccer opened the 2026 season with a thrilling 2-1 Win over Stockton.

Freshman DJ Mosley scored his first career goal to put the Profs ahead before Evan Vilaboy headed home the game-winner with just 50 seconds remaining. Korey Philpot assisted on both goals in his Rowan debut, while Luke McNamee provided the setup for Vilaboy's late winner.
