“Participating in the COD Mammography Program was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The quality of education really prepared me with the knowledge to feel confident in caring for my patients and being able to communicate with the physicians to provide the best care possible. The program was intensive and challenging but the camaraderie with the women I was studying alongside made the work
fun and enjoyable. The teachers are caring and easy to communicate with and my clinical site was friendly and really invested their time and energy in teaching me.”

"The Mammography program really prepared me to further my career by earning my Mammography Credential. The instructors prepare you for your boards and give you plenty of resources to help you exceed in this program. The information that is taught in class really prepared me to apply it hands-on during clinical. After graduating I felt extremely confident in myself and my skills to perform Mammograms. I now get to work full time as a Mammographer, which is such a rewarding career because I get to help many women everyday!"

“I feel so fortunate to have been accepted into the highly selective program. Our class was affected greatly by Covid but I saw how, under the new leadership of Sue Dumford, all the professors were able to pivot and develop new tools to assure proper instruction and clinical experience. Today, I am grateful to be a practicing Mammographer, I continue to gain new skills and am involved in conversations on improving the patient experience. I am also serving on the Advisory Committee for the Mammography Program at COD. I know that without the personal approach afforded me by all the educators I had the honor to learn from at College of DuPage and my clinical sites, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve my goals.”

“Applying for COD mammogram program was one of the best decisions I made. The instructors are all wonderful and extremely knowledgeable in their field. The one semester program, while very intensive and detailed, completely prepares you not only for the registry/board exam but gives you the real life skills needed to excel in your future career.”

“The College of DuPage Mammography Program truly prepared me for a long career in breast imaging. The program is a short and sweet experience that I am so lucky to have been a part of. College of DuPage now has two mammography units to practice with your classmates. Not only will you learn all the correct positioning skills, but they also have multiple clinical sites that allow you to learn on actual patients. While in class you will also learn the importance of the quality control that goes into the mammography units. Cancer screening is something that will always be needed, and your patients will always need you. Apply to College of DuPage mammography program and start making a difference in the way females feel about healthcare.”

“I am writing on behalf of the College of DuPage Mammography program. Every fall we accept mammography students from the College of DuPage and we look forward to it every year. Sue Dumford is the program chair and she is very communicative and receptive to our needs at Ascension Mercy in Aurora. The program is a great opportunity to connect with (and hire!) new talent. I highly recommend the program.”
