College of DuPage visual art programs invite artists to apply for a residency working with our students. Artists will propose a detailed timeline for a residency project that will span 2 to 8 weeks with several date options between April 4 and June 28, 2022 or September 1 and November 19, 2022. Proposals must engage our student body with the option to include broader forms of community engagement and explain how the artists will work closely with one or more classes for a minimum of 6 hours over the course of the residency. While residents will be working primarily with art students, potential interdisciplinary connections and research across other fields of study are encouraged.

Selected artists will receive stipends up to $3500 which may be used to cover materials, travel, lodging, etc. (Stipend will be received after the first public event.)
