The COD Speech & Debate Team attended the Community College Speech & Debate National Tournament and won 7 individual awards and 1 team award. Awards included:
Kaliyah Thompson - Bronze Award in International Public Debate & Bronze Award in Poetry Interpretation;
Andrew Palik - Gold Award in International Public Debate and 3rd Overall Speaker Award in International Public Debate;
Damian Rocha - Bronze Award in Duo Interpretation (partner Nick Washington)
Nicholas Washington - Gold Award in Prose Interpretation and Bronze Award in Duo Interpretation (partner Damian Rocha)
Ru - Silver Award in International Public Debate
