ALU’s Dean of Academic Success, Lydia Liberio
ALU would like to recognize the Dean of Academic Success, Lydia Liberio, continued
leadership and distinguished contributions to the field of mediation and arbitration. Dean Liberio
was recently featured as a Western U.S. arbitrator in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators
(CIArb) North American Branch newsletter, highlighting her expertise, dedication, and
influence in advancing alternative dispute resolution across the region.
In addition, Dean Liberio participated in the Southern California Mediation Association
(SCMA) Annual Conference this past weekend, where the court-mandated
mediation/arbitration vendor, MCLA, presented a featured panel. MCLA, the Los Angeles
Superior Court’s (LASC) official provider of probate mediation training, currently offers
the only advanced 40-hour probate training available nationwide. Following the keynote
presentation, MCLA hosted an engaging preview of this program in the conference’s largest
auditorium, an event that underscored Dean Liberio’s ongoing commitment to the professional
development of mediators and arbitrators.
Her achievements reflect Abraham Lincoln University’s dedication to academic excellence,
professional leadership, and the advancement of justice through education and service.
