Arcadia’s International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) Master of Arts program offers innovative, cohort-based curriculum and experiential learning opportunities. The International Peace and Conflict Resolution master’s degree offers an innovative curriculum that allows students to develop an area of concentration within the discipline of international peace and conflict resolution, build an

international network of contacts among the international conflict resolution community, and gain practical experience in the field. Students in this program don't just read about peace and conflict studies, they travel to key sites of international conflict and research real-world solutions.

*IPCR Social Media Community Standards*

IPCR social media outlets are intended to be used as a communication channel between the program and its constituency for the purpose of disseminating relevant information and engaging in appropriate dialogue pertaining to the field and the program. All social media outlets managed by Arcadia University’s IPCR Program are extensions of the program itself and should be treated in accordance to program and university policies and regulations. Administration has the right to monitor activities by group members and site visitors on all IPCR media outlets to ensure that community standards are being maintained. Group Members and Site Visitors must maintain professional conduct on all IPCR social media outlets by:

Being respectful of other’s views and opinions, even if they differ from your own. Using appropriate language. Foul and offensive language is not permitted in any context. Abstaining from slander towards any individual, group, or institution. Please be mindful that IPCR social media outlets are not intended as a substitution for other means of communication (in-person meetings, telephone, or email). Questions and concerns pertaining to the program need to be communicated to program administration via in-person meetings, telephone conversations, and email exchanges. Failure to abide by IPCR Social Media Community Standards may result in posts or comments being deleted by administration or group members or site visitors being removed and/ or blocked from social media outlets. If the situation warrants it, further actions will be taken in accordance with Arcadia University policy. IPCR Closed Facebook Group Clause:
Closed Facebook Groups managed by IPCR program administration include groups based on anticipated Graduating Class, as well as a general IPCR Arcadia group reserved for intermingling of all classes. Closed Facebook Groups dedicated to specific graduating classes are reserved only for members of that graduating class. Requests to join other graduation classes, aside from one’s respective graduation class will not be obliged. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring that all members of our community are treated with respect and dignity in a safe space.

Arcadia University's International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) master’s program, in coordination with The Peace Center; Bucks County, hosted a full-day, hands-on forum in the Commons Great Room focused on nonviolent civil resistance.

Creative political expression in action!

Undergraduate and graduate students at Arcadia created posters in response to our prompt: "What does nonviolent civil resistance look like?"

Posters will be on display on Friday, March 13, 2026 in the University Commons Great Room during our upcoming event, Teach-In: A Toolkit for Nonviolent Civil Resistance. Attendees will vote on their favorite design and the winner will receive a prize!
