I’m reaching out once again for our annual fundraising campaign in support of the Study Abroad Program in the Department of Land Resources at Glenville State University.

Over the past four years, this program has helped 21 students participate in Field Exploration and Research in the Philippines. This experience has truly shaped their academic and personal growth.

This study abroad program blends cultural immersion with hands-on ecological and land surveying fieldwork. Students explore Philippine heritage sites, engage with local communities, and conduct applied research on the microclimates of forests. They also develop practical skills in boundary surveying, GIS mapping, and environmental exploration while learning about biodiversity, conservation, sustainable land use, and alternative energy systems.

If you would like to support this transformative experience, you may donate here:

Thank you for your continued support of our department’s programs. Your contribution directly helps provide students with unique, experiential learning opportunities through this study abroad program.
