We were excited to welcome Jessi and Consuela with Align to Dent 250 lab for an engaging, hands-on experience with iTero scanning! 🦷✨

Our DH students had the opportunity to scan one another while exploring the innovative tools that are transforming patient care. Experiences like this bring learning to life and highlight how technology enhances both patient understanding and outcomes.

From early detection to patient education, these advancements empower clinicians to provide more comprehensive, personalized care.

Thank you to Jessi, Consuela, and Align for helping our students take their skills to the next level! 💙🦷

The LC RDH students visited Macoupin County Health Department to explore more about FQHCs and the role of public health dental hygienists in the public health arena. Guided by LC alum Rosie Schuster, they toured the facility and explored how care is provided to help break down barriers such as transportation and finacials to improve access to dental care, including a hands-on look at a mobile dental clinic.

The experience highlighted how dental hygienists contribute to expanding access to care and educating communities beyond the traditional clinical setting.
