Social and Human Services - Wayne Community College Human Services Our emphasis of study is on development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes relevant to human services.

Wayne Community College's Human Services Technology program prepares students for entry-level positions in institutions and agencies that provide social, community, and educational services. This program prepares students for success through lectures, discussions, labs, and Work-Based Learning work experiences. Graduates should qualify for positions in mental health, child care, family services, s

ocial services, rehabilitation, correction, and educational agencies. Graduates choosing to continue their education may select from a variety of transfer programs at senior public and private institutions.

The February Lunch & Learn on "Interpersonal Communication" will be held Wednesday (02/12/25). Please pre-register to attend using the QR code. As always, all students, faculty, staff, or community members are welcome to attend. Student Activities is sponsoring lunch for up to 25 of our current students who attend the event if they pre-register by 12PM tomorrow (02/11/25). We look forward to seeing you there!

We've made some exciting changes at the Erwin Library!📚 You can now enjoy your snacks and beverages indoors, and even use your cell phones while you visit.📱Take advantage of the many resources available such as study pods, the open computer lab, and printing services. WCC students and employees can easily register for a library card online at waynecc.edu/librarycard or get one in person using a student or employee ID. Get ready for an upgraded library experience!
