Pursue a career in one of North Carolina’s 10 fastest growing occupations! As Baby Boomers age and seek medical services, the demand for multi-skilled medical administrative assistants and medical coding specialists continues to increase. Through this program, you will learn how to perform a wide array of administrative duties, such as completing insurance claim forms and scheduling appointments.

You will be prepared for employment in a variety of medical settings, including medical offices, hospitals, clinics, and insurance companies. Salaries for entry-level positions range from $20,000 to $30,000. Credits can be earned through traditional, online, or hybrid classes. Come get the training you need to become a valued member of the medical office community! Credentials available: Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Office Administration, Diploma in Medical Office Administration/Medical Coding and Certificate in Medical Office Administration/Medical Insurance
Average Class Size: 20 – 25
Things to Consider: You may increase your earning potential by passing exams provided by national accrediting associations such as The American Academy of Professional Coders.
