Last week, Software Development Instructor Jenneth Honeycutt had the opportunity to attend the STEM Fair & Showcase at Meadow Lane Elementary.

It was such a fun and meaningful evening spent connecting with students and their families. Jenneth set up a matching game that challenged students (and quite a few parents!) with a fun brain teaser throughout the event.

Sometimes the best part of STEM outreach is simply showing up, sharing a few laughs, sparking curiosity, and being part of the community. Weโ€™re thankful for opportunities like this to encourage young learners and support our local schools.

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to Simulation and Game Development Instructor Cheyenne Prybylinski for being named the recipient of the 2026 George E. Wilson Excellence in Teaching Award! ๐ŸŽ‰

Ms. Prybylinski is an incredible instructor who pours her heart, passion, and energy into her students and her work every single day. Her dedication to student success, creativity, and excellence makes a lasting impact both inside and outside the classroom, and we could not be more proud of her.

One of her students shared this about her:

โ€œCouldn't think of someone more deserving of such an award. An amazing, down-to-earth, and overall understanding teacher who gets the point across no matter what. She leaves no one behind. Sheโ€™s of utmost deserving of this award; I'd go as far as to say if she doesn't get it, I'd be VERY disappointed in a lot of people.โ€

Congratulations, Ms. Prybylinski! This recognition is well deserved, and we are lucky to have you as part of our department! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽฎ

Big shoutout to another one of our amazing faculty members, Kristan Tyndall, for continuing to level up her skills! ๐Ÿ‘

She recently completed EDU-210: Palo Alto Networks (PAN) Install, Configure & Manage (ICM), a rigorous course focused on strengthening expertise in perimeter defense and network security.

In a world where cybersecurity threats are constantly evolving, itโ€™s inspiring to see our faculty staying ahead of the curve and bringing cutting-edge knowledge back to our students. ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ”

๐ŸŽ‰ Weโ€™re proud to celebrate one of our outstanding instructors, Jenneth Honeycutt, who is currently attending the NCCIA Conference in Sanford and just achieved her IT Specialist Certification in HTML and CSS! ๐Ÿ’ปโœจ

Not only is she continuing to sharpen her technical skills, but sheโ€™s also diving into the latest Artificial Intelligence tools and strategies to bring innovative ideas back to our classrooms. Our students benefit when our faculty stay curious, engaged, and committed to lifelong learning.

Please join us in congratulating her on this achievement and for representing our department so well! ๐Ÿ‘ We canโ€™t wait to see all the new knowledge and inspiration she brings back campus.
