Gamma Phi Beta Delta Psi chapter is having their annual Pancake Breakfast in support of Girls on the Run. Pancake Breakfast is Saturday, February 11. From 10am-11am the house is open to just alumni and parents. Afterwards it is open to all. It is $8 at the door, and it is for a great cause and to connect to your sisters. We would love if all of you are able to attend and we hope to see you there.

Hello lovely alumnae! I am Lilly Cloutier, the new ARC for this year :) A little about me: I'm a second year bio-anthropology major, and I joined GPhi in winter of 2021. I'm originally from Sunol, CA, which is this tiny little town just east of San Francisco. I'm looking forward to serving this position and being able to connect with all of you! I've attached a newsletter that summarizes what we've been up to this past winter quarter, so feel free to check it out and please share your thoughts!

As ARC, it is my job--and pleasure--to be able to engage with GPhi's past. I'd love to be able to interview some of you, whether that be about your career, your past, or any business you're in that you'd like to promote. Welcome to the UCSB Comm Alumni Council, Wendy McEnulty Garcia!

Wendy is an accomplished HR professional with 20+ years of experience. Wendy owns her own HR consultancy, Enlightened HR Services.

Her firm specializes in creating customized employee handbooks and sexual harassment prevention training. She also advises clients on day-to-day HR needs such as managing employee relations issues, compliance concerns, workplace injuries, offer letters, background checks and more.

Wendy is certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and also holds the Professional in Human Resources - California (PHR-ca) designation. This signifies that Wendy has knowledge of California employment law from an HR perspective. In addition, Wendy is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management as a Senior Competent Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Wendy is a 1990 UCSB Comm graduate and also received a Certificate in Human Resources Management from UC Irvine.
We are delighted to have Wendy join us on the council. The experience she offers will be very helpful to students considering a career in HR.
