Happy Why Adpi Wednesday!𓇼🫧 Hear from one of our first years about her experience joining ADPi and her time here so far. :)
“Hiii !! My name is Miah Rioseco and I’m from Calexico, California.
Coming to ucsb honestly felt really intimidating at first because I was moving away from home and starting a completely new chapter of my life. I wasn’t sure what my place here was going to look like, but one of the biggest things I hoped to find in college was genuine friendships and people that would truly feel like home to me. Going through recruitment and meeting the girls in ADPi completely changed my perspective on greek life. From the beginning, every conversation felt so natural and comforting, and I always left feeling genuinely happy and excited. The girls made me feel seen, welcomed, and supported in a way that meant so much to me during such a huge transition in my life.
One of my favorite things about ADPi is that I truly feel like I found big sisters and friendships that are going to last way beyond college. Being around these girls brings me so much happiness and confidence, and I can already tell they are the kind of people who will be there for me through every stage of life. I’m so excited for all of the memories, growth, and lifelong friendships still to come. 🩵”
