Worthy Brothers,

With the new school year approaching, Zeta Kappa is looking to strengthen our alumni network and brotherhood. This year, you all can expect better communication and more events to facilitate alumni involvement. As our schedule develops, I will continue to update you with new opportunities and networking events.

Additionally, our first opportunity for alumni involvement is coming up in the next few weeks. We will be hosting an Alumni Barbecue for the final round of UCSB’s 2023 Fall Rush. During this invite-only round, we will be hosting our top choices for potential new members. We invite you to participate in this process to meet these prospective new members. This Rush will be very important for our chapter’s trajectory and we would appreciate alumni involvement in the process. We hope that this event will be an opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our brotherhood and serve as a jumping-off point for a successful new year.

This event will be hosted at the Sigma Chi Chapter House on Friday, September 29 at 4:00 PM. We ask that you arrive a few minutes beforehand so we are prepared when PNMs arrive. Registration has opened for our golf tournament at Glen Annie Golf Club. Last year, the best alumni group took home 4th place with a score of -4 under par! The Zeta Kappa chapter of Sigma Chi would like to invite you to Glen Annie Golf Club for an alumni tournament that will take place at noon on May 28th, 2022. May 28th is the Saturday at the end of this year's Derby Days, and this would be a great way for our chapter to not only connect with alumni, but also to raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. If you are interested please fill out the Google Form below to RSVP. We recommend to reconnect with some of your brothers from your college career and sign up as a foursome. There will be prizes for best and worst score.

Where and when: Glen Annie Golf Club, 12 pm - 405 Glen Annie Rd, Goleta, CA 93117
Fees: $600 a foursome (includes green fees, cart, range balls, and a boxed lunch), $150 a single (if you can't get a foursome we will pair you with other Sigma Chi's)
Pay to: Venmo - - please title as "Golf Tournament" (if you don't have Venmo, reach out to me via phone or email)
Registration closes: May 1st, 2022
Format: Shotgun, 4-man scramble with closest to the pin and long drive contests
