This hands-on course introduces you to essential skills like workplace safety, construction math, hand and power tools, blueprints, rigging, communication, and more. Plus, successful completion prepares you for Level 1 industrial trades courses.

📅 Registration & payment deadline: Monday, Sept. 14 at noon.

💰 Scholarships are available, and many students may qualify for assistance with tuition costs.

⚡️🔧 Gonzales Independent School District students recently put their electrical skills to work at the Gonzales Center!

Level 2 and 3 GHS students helped install disconnects for the HVACR training systems that begin this month. Talk about getting some real-world experience! 👏

Through a partnership between Gonzales High School and Victoria College, high school students can take non-credit electrical courses that give them hands-on experience and help prepare them for careers in the skilled trades.

Victoria College welcomed State Representative Alan Schoolcraft to the Gonzales Center this week! 🤝

During his visit, Representative Schoolcraft met with VC President Dr. Jennifer Kent and toured the center, including our welding, HVAC, and Electrical labs and training area. He also spent time visiting with CDL students and even climbed into one of the 18-wheelers for a firsthand look at the training our students experience.

We appreciate Schoolcraft for Texas taking the time to visit the Gonzales Center, connect with our students, and see how Victoria College is preparing a skilled workforce to meet the needs of the communities and industries we serve. 🎓
