Hmmmm, provides the seed of an idea. There’s a place in Florida that comes to mind…😆
Burt Reynolds had a long and bitter relationship with the National Enquirer. For years, the tabloid published stories about his private life, and Reynolds eventually decided he wanted to get even in a way they would not forget.
According to Reynolds, on Christmas Eve he arranged for a helicopter carrying horse manure to fly over the National Enquirer’s headquarters in Lantana, Florida. The load was then dumped onto the property below. Reynolds later openly talked about the stunt and seemed quite pleased with how his unusual revenge had turned out.
The story became one of the more colorful tales associated with Reynolds, who was known for his humor and willingness to poke fun at both Hollywood and himself. Rather than answering the tabloid with another story or public argument, he apparently chose a much messier response.
