Today, we look forward with joy as we anticipate the events of this holiday. Grandparents will hold their new grandchildren, fathers and sons will prepare the dinner turkey, and so many other moments will unfold that are worth cherishing long after this day.
As I too look forward to moments like these, I want to take a moment to look back at everything the Lord has blessed me with through this company. Twenty-six years ago, this company was founded, and looking back on those 26 years, it’s hard to find words to explain everything this company has been able to achieve.
When you hear someone talking about the achievements of a company, you expect to hear a number of awards and statistics, but that’s not what I want to talk about today. When I look back over the last 26 years, I see countless families that we have been able to partner with to build their dream home.
With that comes relationships built on trust. Trust that we will build you a home in which to raise your family, which is no small undertaking. One of the greatest joys I get to look back on today is the fact that our homes are places where people want to invite family and friends to gather in community. Speaking of community, can I just say thank you to everyone who has confidently shared our name with your friends as a company you trust to build? That kind of word-of-mouth support is something we never take lightly.
Lastly, I want to thank the team that makes this whole company go round. There are no amount of words in a social media post to explain how grateful I am for everyone’s hard work. Day in and day out, y’all show up ready to complete any job with excellence, and that is something that shows in the final product. Every day I show up to work excited because the people I work with make it feel less and less like a job.
