UND Delta Gamma Delta Gamma (ΔΓ) is one of the oldest and largest women's fraternities in the United States and Canada, with its Executive Offices based in Columbus, Ohio.

Delta Gamma was founded in December 1873, in Oxford, Mississippi, at the Lewis School for Girls near the University of Mississippi. The group was founded by Mary Comfort Leonard, Eva Webb Dodd, and Anna Boyd Ellington.

Meet freshman Peyton Braegelmann! Peyton is a nursing major from Lakeville, Minnesota. Here’s what she has to say:

“I am so so thankful I chose to go through recruitment. I was not totally on board with the whole Greek life idea at first, but I took a chance and I could not be more grateful I chose this path. The moment I stepped into Delta Gamma, I had the biggest smile on my face that couldn’t seem to fade. These girls were the kindest, sweetest, and funniest girls, which made Delta Gamma immediately feel like a home for me. So far, being in Delta Gamma has shown me what genuine friendships look like and I have been welcomed in so easily, it warms my heart how sweet all these girls are! These girls have shown me so much love to the point I have been brought to tears and to think I have only met them a month ago? Words cannot describe the excitement I have for these next four years and to see how much my sisters and I grow together!🩵⚓️”

Yesterday we celebrated UND Homecoming and the 100th year anniversary of our house! Thank you to all the alumnae who helped make this event happen, we could not have imagined this without you. “Dear Brooklyn,
I honestly don’t even know where to begin because I feel so incredibly lucky to have you in my life. You are genuinely one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and you bring so much light and happiness into my life just by being you. I am so grateful that delta gamma has brought us together and that I get to call you not only my sister, but one of my best friends.
Moving into the house with you has been some of the best few weeks of my life. I already know that these are going to be some of the memories I look back on and love the most. From the little everyday moments like you making me try sonic for the first time to all of the laughs and memories we’ve already made, I am so thankful I get to experience this with you by my side.
You have such a kind and genuine heart, and you have a way of making everyone around you feel loved and cared for. I hope you know how much of a light you are in my life and how grateful I am for you every single day. I truly could not ask for a better person to go through college with.
Thank you for being you and for making this experience so much more special just by being a part of it.
