Congratulations to Professor Michael S. McGinniss on the publication of his recent article, “Lawyer Discipline as Political ‘Resistance’: Separation of Powers, Federalism, and the Rule of Law,” in the Independent Law Journal.

Professor McGinniss examines concerns surrounding the use of lawyer disciplinary processes for political and ideological purposes and considers how courts, disciplinary authorities, and the law should respond.

Meet Dakota McGee, our 1L Representative!

Dakota is from Minot, North Dakota, and is currently enjoying Torts as his favorite class. Outside of law school, he enjoys hunting waterfowl and kayaking during the summer.

We’re excited to have Dakota serving the UND Federalist Society this year.
