Happening tomorrow!

The Dice Mineralogical Museum at Calvin University welcomes the campus community and the general public to an exhibit on Nov. 14, 4-7 PM, focusing on marine fossils from the Cretaceous Period, including large ammonites, a mosasaur skull, and a fossil octopus. The event will include the unveiling of an original painting commissioned for the fossil octopus display and a spectacular new fossil acquisition, as well as an informative talk about the geology of Lebanon and its famous fossils.

TALK: “Adventures in Lebanon: Mountains, Faults, and Fossil Fish” by Dr. Chris Walley, 4-5 PM, North Hall 078 (GEO Seminar Series)

UNVEILING: 5:15-5:30 PM, Dice Museum
