M West Challenge The West Michigan Business Plan Competition

The West Michigan Business Plan Competition brings entrepreneurial students from participating schools from West Michigan to compete for start up capital funding, and start a new venture. In addition to the $20,000 in cash prizes, students will have access to resources, mentors, educational workshops, and opportunities to network with angel and venture capital investors.

Please plan to arrive NO LATER THAN 5:30PM! Teams should have their final presentations preloaded onto a flashdrive which will be given to Qi'Shaun at the registration table after check in.

When is the event?: Tuesday, April 18th!

Where is the event? Grand Rapids Community College ATC Building

Is there free parking?: Yes! Park in the ramp across from the ATC Building and we will validate your parking.

Can my friends and family come to the event? Yes! The more, the merrier.

Will there be food?: Yes! Refreshments will be provided.

What are the prize amounts for the Finals?: 1st - $3,000, 2nd - $2,000, 3rd - $1,250

What are the prize amounts for the Innovation Showcase?: Group A and B will be awarded 1st - $1,250, 2nd - $750, 3rd - $500.
