Congratulations to Prof. Kamaraj whose new paper looks at the state-of-the-art in 3D bioprinting with AI! And here you were just using ChatGPT to write a report on the Fall of the Roman Empire - like a peasant - when you could have been using it to craft a whole new kidney - boss level unlocked!

3D bioprinting, a vital tool in tissue engineering, drug testing, and disease modeling, is increasingly integrated with machine learning (ML) and arti…

In case you're wondering what to do after January 45th, here's a little something to tickle your brain cells! The 8th Roger That conference at GVSU and GRPM is all about Life in Space and we have speakers who will tell you about how we plan to grow plants in zero gravity, and what it was like to spend 45 days in a simulated space mission, and the search for water on Jupiter's icy moon Europa, and robots to mine for water on our moon!

Our keynote speaker is Dr Robert Satcher who has a chemical engineering bachelor's AND doctoral degree from MIT, a medical degree from Harvard, and then decided that he had been phoning it in so he became an astronaut at NASA! Oh, also, he's a surgeon in the orthopedic oncology department at MD Anderson! Listen, this is an impressive resume for three people and I'd have taken a nap after any one of these accomplishments and that is the difference between me and an astronaut!

So bring the whole family on Friday, Feb 16th and Saturday Feb 17th. Events at GVSU are completely FREE and at the museum are free with entry. For more information and to register go to https://www.gvsu.edu/rogerthat/

AI - it's not just to be able to cheat on your history paper! This is a really cool article about the use of Brain Spinal Interface to help paralyzed people, walk again! It sounds like science fiction but it's not! Also, watch Christopher Reeves' son talk about this and try not to cry! https://youtu.be/-ixGHlgDLTk.

A reliable digital bridge restored communication between the brain and spinal cord and enabled natural walking in a participant with spinal cord injury.

Hey hey! Look what our students designed! It's Simpully awesome! Sorry, I know that puns are the lowest form of humor - unfortunately I am Simpully unable to come up with anything better!

A health care innovation company owned by an alumnus will soon launch its first product, one that evolved from a prototype created by GVSU engineering students.
