Hey everyone! Hope your semester is off to a good start!

We wanted to let you know that you're invited to apply to become a CLIC Leadership Fellow! Please complete the application through this link (https://forms.gle/NLPyKiz4RJfuDfEJ8) by January 31st if you're interested!

The Leadership Fellows were created to make a positive difference on campus through leadership programming along with assisting CLIC in a special internship capacity. We work together to plan and put on meaningful programs including D.U. Lead, the Leadershape Institute, STRETCH!, the Power of Positivity, Digital Identity & Leadership, and many more!

As a Fellow, you’ll have the opportunity to create and execute your own program. You’ll be supported in pursuing your passions and making an impact on Denison’s campus! This is a campus leadership position, like the roles of orientation staff members, senior interviewers, academic department fellows, community advisors, and RED CORPS Fellows. What makes the Leadership Fellows unique is that you’ll have the freedom to create something special for Denison, and be supported by other fellows while having the necessary rescuers to fulfill your initiatives!
This position also builds valuable professional skills that have helped members land internships and jobs. Leadership Fellows have been able to significantly improve their leadership skills through meaningful collaboration and communication.

Finally, here is our mission statement!: As members of the Denison community dedicated to leadership development in an inclusive learning environment, we value integrity, passion, accountability, creativity, compassion, vulnerability, and possibility. We model these values by meeting the needs of the Denison community through the provision of valuable resources and the implementation of leadership programs. We aim to assist individuals and organizations in the realization of their leadership potential through organizational assessments, leadership workshops, values-based programming, and other progressive means of further developing individual and organizational leadership on campus. We are committed to facilitating the development of personal leadership styles through the application of theory as well as the recognition and commendation of outstanding leadership.

If you resonate with our mission, please apply!!

We think this is going to be a truly incredible opportunity, to work with peers, faculty and staff, to impact our campus community in a remarkable way, and to gain skills that will prepare you for professional success well beyond your time on the Hill!

ONLY 1 DAY LEFT TO BE A PART OF THE THE MOST TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE AT DENISON!!!

If you haven't started on your application for the LeaderShape Institute, this is the last chance for you to do so!!! Applications are due TONIGHT at 11:59'. Finish yours NOW at www.denison.edu/leadershape and fill your expectations with those of lasting friendships, expanded relationship network, powerful discussions, and enjoyable winter vacation experience at Salt Fork Lodge!

People often wonder what LeaderShape is all about, so we've given listed some FAQs below:

1. When is the program?
This year, the LeaderShape Institute takes place between January 13-19 (last week of the winter break) at Salt Fork Lodge, Ohio.

2. Is the application competitive?
Not at all! The LeaderShape application is non-competitive and only serves as a way for you to communicate your interests with us.

3. How much do I pay for the trip?
All the fees are covered by Denison, so you don't need to pay any amount to take part in the LeaderShape Institute!

4. I'm already a leader. Is this still for me?
Yes! LeaderShape helps you take your ideas about the world and shows you how to act on them as a leader in order to make a difference. LeaderShape will help you enhance your capacity to lead whether your a veteran or a novice leader.

5. Is it rustic? I want to rest over break!
Remote, but not rustic! Salt Fork has the feel of a comfortable ski lodge during the winter. The scenery is gorgeous! The food is great, and you will experience hotel accommodations that are comfortable and cozy. We will stay busy, though.

6. What do you actually do there? Is it like D.U. Lead?
It's quite a bit different than D.U. Lead! First of all, Leadershape is open to all class years; in fact, it's typically upperclassmen that get the most out of the experience. Second, the curriculum is very different. The curriculum is based on a series of "simulation" activities that will challenge you to reexamine how you will lead in the real world.

7. But really, why should I go?
There are a million reasons! Participants who come back from LeaderShape often describe it as transformational to their Denison experience. LeaderShape is well-known nationally as the best undergraduate leadership program you can attend-put it on your resume! You'll form lasting friendships with Denison students. You'll get a chance to hear from and network with Denison alumni and local community leaders who are changing the world. You'll get to know the faculty and staff who are there to help facilitate the program. It's a once in a lifetime experience!
