Brenda Vieyra Hernandez lives in Brush, Colorado and is pursuing her . She began her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Nutrition, but after learning about the dietetics profession and its potential to improve health through prevention
and individualized care, she switched to the Dietetics major.

Brenda is excited to complete her rotations and work with diverse populations in a variety of settings, helping individuals reach their health and wellness goals. Although she is eager to learn about all areas of nutrition, she has a special interest in diabetes
education.
