Careli Navarro knew by sixth grade that she wanted to become a nurse. When it came time to choose a college, she wanted a program that would help her reach that goal while staying close to home and making her education affordable.
As a first-generation college student, scholarships helped make UW–Green Bay the right fit. But it was the University's strong nursing program and hands-on clinical experiences that confirmed she had made the right choice.
Today, Careli is gaining real-world experience working with patients, applying what she's learned in the classroom and building the confidence needed to succeed in the profession she has dreamed about for years.
