UW-Green Bay’s Fall 2026 Convocation recognized the people and achievements that make our phoenix community stronger.

CAHSS is especially proud of Dr. Jennie Young, recipient of the Faculty Award for Excellence in Scholarship. 🎉

Jennie’s scholarly work in rhetoric and discourse analysis evolved into the internationally recognized Burned Haystack Method, attracting a global audience of hundreds of thousands and generating national and international media attention. Her work recently culminated in the publication of a major book through HarperCollins, demonstrating how humanities research can shape public conversations and create real-world impact.
