Keep your cool—literally! 🧊🥤

Pack coolers with plenty of ice and keep them closed as much as possible. Store drinks separately to help maintain safe temperatures, and aim to keep everything below 40°F.

Breakfast on the Farm Fun! 🐄🍦

What a success! We welcomed an estimated 400 kids to our booth, where learning met delicious fun 🤩

Kids got hands-on making their very own homemade ice cream using vanilla coffee creamer, ice, and salt—just shake it up and watch the magic happen! ✨

🧊 Did you know? By adding salt to ice, we can lower the freezing temperature, helping turn simple ingredients into a sweet treat even faster! Science has never tasted so good 😋

Garden Smarts Pilot 🌱

Our Garden Smarts pilot at Oneida Emergency Food Pantry & Oneida Food Distribution brought hands-on learning to life! Over 6 weeks, students explored gardening through fun activities like building rain gauges and mini compost systems—learning where food comes from and how to care for it.

The impact didn’t stop in the garden—students brought their excitement home, inspiring families to connect, grow, and learn together. 💚

This program is more than a pilot—it’s a seed of community growth, one family at a time. 🌿

✨ Meet our team:
Samantha (Pantry Office Manager & mom of 8), Tonya (Nutrition Educator), and Sarah (Extension Educator) all share a passion for connecting families with healthy food and the outdoors.
