Garden Smarts Pilot 🌱

Our Garden Smarts pilot at Oneida Emergency Food Pantry & Oneida Food Distribution brought hands-on learning to life! Over 6 weeks, students explored gardening through fun activities like building rain gauges and mini compost systems—learning where food comes from and how to care for it.

The impact didn’t stop in the garden—students brought their excitement home, inspiring families to connect, grow, and learn together. 💚

This program is more than a pilot—it’s a seed of community growth, one family at a time. 🌿

WOW—what a STEM‑tastic weekend! 🚀

Families explored over 40 hands‑on activities, from marshmallow engineering and bridge building to crash testing and rocket launches. These incredible young minds showed creativity, teamwork, and curiosity every step of the way.
