To celebrate Aldo Leopold, deemed the father of wildlife ecology and modern conservation, the JOSHUA Environmental Justice Task Force invites you to be a part of a reading of Aldo's "A Sand County Almanac." This is a public reading for those who would like to attend, free of charge. The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is hosting a presentation on "Underground Resistance: The Story of Mildred Fish-Harnack" as part of their Think & Drink series on March 2nd at 6:30 pm. The presentation is free and open to the public and will be presented both in person and virtually. The featured drink of the night will be Red Orchestra Mule, a cherry Moscow Mule.

When Wisconsin-born Mildred Fish-Harnack joined a resistance group in Berlin in 1938, she knew that going against Hi**er and the N**i regime was dangerous. "Well it's not a question of how dangerous it is, I've got work to do, I'm not going." Mildred's courage and resolve to oppose N**ism ended tragically. Mildred became the only American citizen to be executed by Adolf Hi**er's direct order. Join the Wisconsin Maritime Museum to learn how a girl from Milwaukee became a celebrated hero of resistance to the N**i regime in Germany.

Alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the limited bar.
