Everyone is welcome to join us as we explore the history, development, and current state of feminism in China, as well as gain insight into this global social movement from diverse cultural perspectives.

We know this is a late post, but we still want to thank everyone who came to our anti-colonialism event. Special thanks to the two wonderful clubs, and , for collaborating with us, and to the Indy Liberation Center for featuring our event on their official website!

In the future, while sharing Chinese culture with everyone, we also hope to promote the history of China and Asia through social and political events. We invite you all to join us in building a more diverse community together.

Discussion on China‘s colonized history and its parallels with the United States. Collaborated with DePauw AAAS and DSD, we will shed light on the New Afrikan Movement as part of the global effort toward decolonization.

Guest speaker: Shaka Shakur, black activist fundamentally influence by the Chinese revolution and wrongfully in prision for more than twenty years.

Hope everything goes well! This semester, collaborating with Chinese professors, DCC will continue its Language Partner program where everyone who joined in will be paired with a Chinese student, having conversations about language and culture and helping each other learn more about Chinese and English. In the event of this weekend, we will also provide Chinese food. If you are interested, please use the Google form below to sign up, the deadline for registration is this Friday.
