Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The Pi Lambda chapter was established at DePauw University on March 23, 1991 by "The Pearls of DePauw:" Joy Armstead, Robin Batties, Ronda Henry and Gina Ross.

We also celebrate and honor the leadership, dedication, and foresight of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's visionary founders who paved the way for us and for others to come. 110 years later, the legacy of sisterhood, service, and scholarship continues to thrive through our 300K+ members and more than 1012 chapters worldwide .
