Next up for winter term CERAMICS with Professor Brickell.
The students started with a lump of clay and created these beautiful planter pots.
Once they had been processed they came over to the greenhouse and chose and potted up a little plant.
SO.MUCH.FUN!

It's been a minute!
The Greenhouse had such a busy winter term! Woohoo!
First up making music with plants!
Assistant Professor Amy Sojot brought her studens by to explore different spaces on campus.
She brought over a Playtronica board (I dont know exactly how it works) but the result is when you complete the circuit of wires, one attached to the Playtronic board, one attached to a plant, and one held by the participant. When the participant touches the plant it makes a sound.
The students were fascinated and so was I!

At $3 each they're a steal. 100% of the proceeds from these little guys is donated to Beyond Homeless to support their mission.
