Have some old pesticides you want to get rid of? OISC Clean Sweep is happening in August. Get the details and Participant Form here: https://oisc.purdue.edu/pesticide/clean_sweep.html

What: An OISC Clean Sweep Pesticide Disposal Program designed to collect and dispose of suspended, canceled, banned, unusable, opened, unopened or just unwanted pesticides (herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides, fungicides, miticides, etc.) is being sponsored by the Office of Indiana State Chemist (OISC). This disposal service is free of charge up to 300 pounds per participant. Over 300 pounds there will be a $3.00 per pound charge. This is a great opportunity for you to legally dispose of unwanted products at little or no cost.

WHO: All public and private schools, golf courses, nurseries, farmers, ag dealers, public, cities, towns, municipalities and county units of government or others receiving this notice are eligible to participate.

WHEN: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Local Time

WHERE: August 11, 2026: Tippecanoe County ACRE, 4530 US-52, West Lafayette, Indiana 47906
August 12, 2026: Allen County Ag Plus, 8137 Franke Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816
August 13, 2026: Hancock County Keystone Cooperative, 6250 IN-234, Wilkinson, Indiana 46186
August 18, 2026: Gibson County Superior Ag, 150 West 1200 South, Haubstadt, Indiana 47639
August 19, 2026: Fulton County Nutrien Ag, 7901 South 100 West, Rochester, Indiana 46975
August 20, 2026: Jackson County Premier Ag, 6905 North CR 400 East, Cortland, Indiana 47274

HOW: Complete the enclosed Clean Sweep Pesticide Disposal Participant Form to the best of your ability. Mail, fax or e-mail the completed form to OISC at 765-494-
4331 or [email protected] no later than Friday, August 7, 2026.
Questions may be directed to OISC at 765-494-1492. Then bring your leak free and safe to transport containers to the collection site. DO NOT mix materials.

***Empty pesticide containers will not be accepted, please follow label directions
for proper disposal of empty pesticide containers**
