I want to make sure everyone sees this if you're interested in going to Charlotte for the game watch. We won't be having game watches in Greensboro this season, unless someone is interested in organizing them. If you are get in touch and I'll be happy to help get you any info you need.

If you are in Charlotte on Labor Day, please join the Charlotte 'Canes at Draught Charlotte to watch Miami beat Louisville in the 2014 season opener! We will have awesome food and drink specials, cake, lots of giveaways and raffle prizes, and more! Please RSVP via the Charlotte Alumni Club Facebook event page if you plan to attend.

We're almost halfway to the required 300 applications so we can get our UM plate in North Carolina! Be sure to send in your application ASAP! All the details are on the University of Miami North Carolina License Plate page.

If you've not liked the University of Miami North Carolina License Plate you should, but here is an update from them on where things are with getting a UM license plate in NC.

If you're interested in getting one of these plates then you need to go to the link below and fill in your information. No payment is required at this time, but they need 300 people to confirm through this link in order for this to move forward. Please share this with other Canes in NC that might be interested!

Canes, it looks like we might finally be getting a UM license plate in NC! Be sure to like this page if you're interested in ordering one when they're available. They need 300 people for this to go through!

We need 300 North Carolinians interested in a University of Miami license plate before the state will add UM to the list of available options. Please only like this page if you are willing to spend the $25 a year for a North Carolina UM Tag.

Information will be going out via email today about attending the UM basketball game at Wake Forest. If you're not on the email list and you're interested in attending please send me a message with your email address. The game is Saturday, February 23rd at 1pm.

This weekend's game against USF will be at 3pm, and it looks like it will be televised on Fox Sports Carolinas. We won't be having a game watch this week, but hope everyone has a great time at the Duke game next weekend.

For those of you that may not get my emails - We're doing a group ticket order for the Duke game on the 24th. Tickets are $15 and are in section 3, right next to the UM section. If you're interested in purchasing tickets please send me a message with your email address so I can give you more details. I need your final ticket count and the payment by Monday the 12th.

FYI-The game against Virginia on the 10th will be at noon. We will not be having a game watch, but the game will be televised on ABC.

One week from today the Canes take on Virginia Tech! Although we won't be having a game watch be sure to watch the game on ESPN at 7:30pm!

This week we won't be having a game watch, but the game against Carolina will be at 2:30pm on ESPNU.

Next week we will be having our last game watch of the regular season, for the FSU game. The time was just announced, it's at 8pm, so be sure to meet us out on the patio at KickBack Jack's.
