Thank you, everyone! You showed up BIG for this year’s Soup Bowl! 🥫💚

Together, we collected 1,024 cans of food, $1,000 in gift cards from Food Lion, and additional cash donations to purchase even more food for individuals and families in need—both on campus and throughout our community.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of YOU. Thank you for coming together, giving generously, and making a meaningful impact! 🙌

At the City of Greensboro’s Commission on the Status of Women event at Barber Park, our very own director of public safety and security, Pamelia McAdoo-Rogers receives the proclamation, issued by N.C. Governor Josh Stein, that recognizes Women’s Equality Day (today, August 26).

Rogers servers as Chair of the Commission.
The Commission (CSW) organizes, outreach events, reviews policies and makes recommendations to the City Council for actions necessary to improve the quality of life for women in Greensboro.

Performing the song “Rise Up” in honor of Women’s Equality Day, is Maelyn Leitch, Greensboro College class of ’27.

We are so proud of Director McAdoo-Rogers and Maelyn!
Keep Roaring!! 🦁
