We’ve had such an amazing week supporting the philanthropies so near and dear to our hearts!!! Hear a little about our week!

We sold Girl Scout cookies!!
Had A LUCKY St. Patrick’s Day!!
Wore Blue on Wednesday for Prevent Child Abuse America!!
Had our annual Run for Caro, honoring and celebrating sister Caroline Smith of PC ‘18 and the Caroline Smith Foundation!!

And a huge celebration of 32 years of Zeta Pi!!!! We are grateful for our sisters and Kappa Delta who encourage us to go confidently everyday!!! Thank you to everyone who showed their support this week!!!

In today’s , let’s hear from best friends, big-little, and dynamic duo Margaret and Ellie!!!👭😇💓

Ellie,
I still remember our first DH breakfast together right after you had gone KD, and thinking to myself that you were truly perfect. From the very beginning, you were someone who was impossible not to love!!! You are a friend (and little) that I had no idea how much I needed. You are the most intentional friend I have ever had, and you show up for the people you love in the most thoughtful ways. Watching you grow into the person you are has been seriously one of the greatest joys of my time at Furman. May we always travel around the world together, share Thursday lunches, and send 15 minute voice memos even when we are 3,873 miles apart. I will never be able to fully explain how much our friendship means to me, but I know no matter where we go next, it’s a friendship that will last a lifetime. I love you forever!!!

HAPPY We are so excited to introduce our amazing President, Carlye!

Hi, y’all! My name is Carlye Nesseth, and I have the new honor of serving as the Kappa Delta President! From living with my best friends on the hall to having the best family filled with so much love, joining Kappa Delta has easily been the best and most joyful experience Furman has given me! Inside Kappa Delta, you will find goofy, spontaneous, kind, confident, and authentic girls that I am lucky enough to call my best friends. I have grown in every aspect of my life because of Kappa Delta and the people who fill our chapter. I am beyond excited to give back to this chapter and can’t wait to serve!

“I went KD because of the strong relationships I could see within the chapter. Seeing how sad the seniors were to be leaving because of the amazing bonds and exorcismes they had within KD made it clear the kind of bonds that were held within this chapter. I admired this and wanted to be a part of such an amazing sisterhood! KD has been the perfect choice because of the people. I love my pledge class and getting to live on the hall and see them everyday has been a dream. I also would have never met my big, Amelia Johnson, without KD and she has been such a huge blessing in my life since last semester! Know that you will end up in the perfect place for you. Go into recruitment with an open mind and think of it as an awesome way to get to know so many awesome girls, the rest will fall into place!!“

No better way to kick off Monday than !! Let’s hear why Maddie Nield PC’22 made the right choice! 💚💚🍀🍀

“KD was the perfect choice because it opened a door for me to be a different version of myself. Without joining KD, I don’t know if I would’ve pushed myself to do things out of my comfort zone. I’ve been exposed to so many new things because of it. I had the opportunity to run for an exec position, and was on governing council, all because I had amazing upperclassman friends that recommended me for it. I went abroad, because girls in KD pushed me to do it knowing it was the opportunity of a lifetime. I learned what being a true friend was through KD, and how to be there for someone when they truly need you. I’ve met my roommates through KD, my forever friends who are there for me on the worst days, and even the best days and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I didn’t know much about rush at all when I started at Furman. After meeting so many girls throughout the process I always had my eye on KD because I felt like I would fit in best with them. After I went through rounds, I knew KD was the right choice for me and I wanted nothing more than to be apart of a community like ours! Getting to know different girls throughout rush was so amazing and it showed me that there was so many different people within the chapter yet we all work so well together making what’s so beautiful about KD!”
