On Friday, Oct. 9, we’ll come together to celebrate their accomplishments and contributions to ECU, their professions and their communities at the 2026 Alumni Awards Dinner. This dinner is open to the public. Registration pinned in the comments.

And just like that, a new semester is underway.

Camryn made friends and created lasting memories by joining clubs and organizations, going to games, joining Greek life and finding ways to be engaged with campus life.

Portia Jones ’11 continues our Move-In Memories series. Portia’s biggest advice is to give yourself time to get acclimated during your first year. Learn your campus, understand how things work, and take advantage of the resources available to you. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or seek help when you need it.
