What a triumph for our agricultural program! Last week, Brad Lentz, our program director, attended the Ohio Association of Agricultural Educators annual Summer Conference, where the incredible news of our program being recognized as the Postsecondary Agricultural Program of the Year for Ohio was announced!! We are overjoyed and extend our sincerest appreciation to our fantastic students, past and present, our influential industry partners, and the exceptional Edison State Community College colleagues for their invaluable contributions to this outstanding achievement. As we revel in this success, we remain committed to elevating our agricultural program to new heights.

Additionally, Mr. Lentz was honored for his 30 years of outstanding service as an agricultural educator! Warmest congratulations to Mr. Lentz and the entire team!

1st place: Winning a garden cart donated by A.M. Leonard in Piqua was Bob Guthrie

2nd place: Winning a bucket of gardening supplies donated by Greenville Ace Hardware was Jewel Towery

Between tours, interns get to assist with other marketing and communications items like content creation, event planning and website management. 💻📸📨

School is almost out, which means our Greenhouse team is winding down their sales year. Stop by the greenhouse and check the sales that we have for the end of the year. Graduate Spotlight: We would like to congratulate Cheyenne Grow from New Madison, Ohio. Cheyenne has received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Agriculture. Cheyenne did her internship at Hartzell Flower Farm. Cheyenne’s future goals are to find a career in agriculture that she loves and continue to grow and improve her family’s farming operations.

Graduate Spotlight: We would like to congratulate Elizabeth Low from Houston, Ohio. Elizabeth has received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Agriculture. Elizabeth did her internship on the Forney Ranch in Rushville, Nebraska. Elizabeth's future plans will probably involve heading back out west to train horses! She is currently working in the family business and of course, riding horses!

Graduate Spotlight: We would like to congratulate Garrett Warner from Covington, Ohio. Garrett has received is Associate of Applied Science degree in Agriculture. Garrett did his internship with The Light Foundation and Chenoweth Trails. Garrett's future goals are to start is own company specializing in wildlife food plots and nature conservation. In the meantime, he's accepted a job at Jones Lake Management. Garrett also operates his own podcasts Kickin' Feet Outdoors and Food for Plot. Be sure to check them out: https://www.youtube.com/

Graduate Spotlight: We would like to congratulate Elisabeth Norman from Troy, Ohio. Elisabeth has received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Agriculture Maintenance. Elisabeth did her internship with R.E. Skillings in New Carlisle. Elisabeth's future plans are to grow her current business, Lissy Anne Co. Her company currently produces baked goods, locally raised meat products and many other items. Be sure to give her a follow and try the homemade poptarts. You won't be disappointed!!
