International Education Week began Monday 17 November 2025, with our third annual parade of flags. This parade tradition was launched after ECU received the Paul Simon Award, a national honor that recognizes campus internationalization efforts in U.S. higher education.
This parade is a wonderful celebration of our students’ diverse backgrounds, the unique qualities that they each bring to ECU and the shared values that unite our community.
The event was well attended, and we ended the day with a great global gathering that brought people together in an atmosphere of connection and cultural appreciation.
