Meet Jordy Kirr, a Clemson MBA alum making an impact in the Upstate! As a Recruiting Manager with Robert Half Talent Solutions, Jordy specializes in direct-hire recruiting for finance and accounting professionals across the Greenville-Spartanburg market, helping organizations find top talent while guiding candidates toward meaningful career opportunities.

One of Jordy's biggest takeaways from the Clemson MBA program was the value of learning from classmates with diverse professional backgrounds. Those perspectives, combined with lasting relationships built with peers, professors and business leaders, created a network that continues to shape her career and approach to leadership.

The Clemson MBA strengthened Jordy's business acumen, expanded her professional network and gave her the confidence to communicate effectively with leaders across industries - skills that have been instrumental in advancing her career.

Alumni Spotlight: Ash Perkins 🐅

Meet Ash Perkins, a proud Clemson MBA alumnus and member of the Clemson MBA Alumni Council.

Today, Ash serves as a Device Partner Master Trainer at Microsoft, leading the training and enablement of commercial OEM, distribution and reseller partners across Australia and New Zealand. Ash also leads Orange Publishing, a company focused on content publishing and technology advisory.

When reflecting on the Clemson MBA experience, Ash emphasizes the program's practical impact:

"My biggest takeaway was just how relevant and real-world focused the program is. It wasn’t theory for the sake of theory. I could take what I was learning in class and apply it directly in the workplace, often straight away."

That hands-on approach helped Ash grow into a more strategic and well-rounded leader.

"The program broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to make informed decisions and think more strategically—skills that are incredibly valuable in today’s rapidly changing world."

Meet Grace, one of our Full-Time MBA students who's making the most of her Clemson experience! 🧡

For Grace, choosing Clemson meant finding more than a top-ranked MBA program - it meant joining a community built on leadership, collaboration and meaningful connections. Through the MBA Student Association, she's developed lifelong friendships, strengthened her leadership skills and made memories (including plenty of trivia nights at Pangea! 🎉).

One of her favorite parts of the program? The engaging classroom environment, especially Professor Peyton's classes that keep students thinking, participating and excited to learn.

As Grace prepares to graduate this December, she's looking forward to launching her career in the healthcare industry and making a meaningful impact wherever her journey takes her.

🌍 Next in our Scotland & Oxford Study Abroad Series is Lauren O'Connell!

Lauren chose to participate in both the Scotland and Oxford study abroad programs because each offered a unique perspective on global business and leadership.

"Scotland gave me the opportunity to focus on global leadership and learn how different cultures approach leading teams, solving problems and building relationships. Oxford complemented that by exploring international business and showing how companies operate and compete on a global scale. Beyond the academics, I wanted to immerse myself in new cultures, step outside my comfort zone and connect with people from different backgrounds."

For Lauren, the experience was about much more than the classroom. Living and studying in two different countries challenged her to become more adaptable, broadened her perspective and strengthened both her personal and professional growth.

Some of her favorite memories came from the experiences shared with her classmates - watching the World Cup at local pubs, touring historic castles, exploring new cities and trying local cuisine. Those moments created lasting friendships and a deeper appreciation for the cultures they experienced together.

At Clemson MBA, opportunities like these allow students to expand their perspectives, build global connections and develop the leadership skills needed to thrive in today's international business environment.
