For the past 11 weeks, a dedicated group of Greenwood entrepreneurs has participated in our Propel Business Lab entrepreneurship course, which we have offered in collaboration with VisionGreenwood and an incredible network of partners.

One week from today, we will celebrate all of them and award one of them $5,000 at our culminating pitch competition! Come out and join us!

This past Tuesday marked a strong start for the Greenwood cohort of the Propel Business Lab.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Lloyd Willis of Lander University for his leadership and support in making this initiative possible. We also thank our featured guest speakers—Caroline Furman and Julie Schlageter co-owners of , and Brad Calhoun, owner of —for sharing their entrepreneurial stories and offering valuable insight to our participants.

To the first cohort of Propel Business Lab students in Greenwood—thank you for your commitment and enthusiasm. Your passion for building locally rooted businesses is what this program is all about.
