Garrett Smith and Andrew Blanton of Lander University Bearcat Anglers win the 2024 Strike King Bassmaster College National Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops with a 3️⃣ day total of 49 pounds! 🏆🏆

We would like to introduce our new head coach, Liam Worley! Liam is a recent graduate of Lander and was part of the bass fishing team during his tenure. During his undergrad, he was a proud member, and during his graduate studies he was our Graduate Assistant.

While a member, Liam helped the team in all different facets. From helping with social media, to helping with sponsors, there is nothing he has not had a hand in. Liam is a strong-willed guy with every member of the team’s best interest in mind. He genuinely loves our program and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for Lander Bass Fishing! Welcome aboard, Coach Worley!

Kaden Buchmann and Chase Wodzinski won the NC State Qualifier on Hickory with 13.72lbs to qualify for the national championship in August. They are our 8th team to have qualified this season!
