REESE WILLIAMS - Honors Pin - Reese is a mathematics major from Red Bank, SC. She completed a joint internship with the University of Alabama-Huntsville and the Marshall Space Flight Center as part of a project to optimize a machine learning algorithm for a satellite that will observe the sun. She also completed a internship at Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico working on creating a 3-D shape model of a potentially hazardous asteroid. Reese presented at the American Geophysical Union and received multiple academic honors at Lander. She hopes for a career at NASA or Space X. Congratulations, Reese!
